DC (Direct Current) charging is significantly faster than AC (Alternating Current) charging because of how electricity is converted to charge an EV battery.

If you’re in a hurry and need to charge up your EV quickly, DC charging is the preferred way as it can charge an EV from 0% to 80% in as little as 30 minutes*.

*Estimated duration based on a charge power of 100kW and 60kWh battery size.
