Upon submission of your damage report, our team will conduct an investigation. Please note that your account will be temporarily banned during the investigation process. You can expect to receive a pre-billing notification in your registered email address within 14 working days from the date of the self-report submission. Additionally, the official invoice will be issued on the 3-5 working day.

The duration for settling a case can vary widely depending on various factors, including the complexity of the case, the nature of the damage, the cooperation of involved parties, and the legal or insurance processes involved.

If you fail to report a damage you accidentally caused in a timely manner, you may lose your insurance coverage regardless of whether or not you purchased Collision Damage Waiver.

Please note that GetGo may charge an $800 administrative fee for the investigation work to identify the Hirer. This fee is in addition to the total reinstatement amount and any other costs related to the repair but is not exclusive to vehicle loss of use.

Note: An admin fee of $800* for users who self-report damages will be waived.

*Admin fee is subject to prevailing GST rates

For more information, you may refer to our Terms and Condition in Schedule 3, Page 18.
