Where is the parking brake on the Honda Civic?

The Honda Civic has a push/pull button for the handbrake, as shown in the picture below. It is located below the gear shift.

It is located below the gear shift and this is how it works:

To release the handbrake, follow these steps:

1. Push down on the button.
2. Switch the gear to D (Drive).

To engage the handbrake, follow these steps:

1. Shift the gear to P (Park).
2. Pull the button up.
