  Where to return your booked EV

  Follow these 3 golden rules when returning your EV:

  Rule 1: If your EV’s remaining battery level is below 50%, return it to its suggested charging lot and leave it to charge

  Rule 2: If your EV’s remaining battery level is above 50%, return it to its home lot

  Rule 3: It’s illegal to park in a charging lot without charging your EV

   

  How do I find my booked EV’s suggested charging lot?

  Go to your booking details page > See the ‘Pick-up and return at’ section to find your suggested charging lots

   

  

  Important: Always check the EV battery level at the beginning of your booking to avoid breakdowns due to low battery levels. If the EV's battery level is below 50% when ending your booking, please return it to the suggested charging lot and leave it to recharge.

• What are the requirements to join GetGo?

  Age and Experience

  • You have to be 19 years old or older, with at least a year of driving experience.
  • If you don't have driving experience, you have to be 25 years old or older (Do note the insurance excess for new drivers.

  Driver's license requirements

  ‣ Licenses must be valid, unexpired and government-issued.

  ‣ Probationary (P-Plate) and junior licenses are not accepted. However, if you're 25 years old or older with a P-Plate license, you may sign up for an account without driving experience.

  You must have no major violations or incidents, including:

• How do I refuel with the Esso fuel card and get the fuel PIN?

  We encourage you to always think about the next user in the same way that the previous user thought about you. If you have the time, we recommend driving to the nearest ESSO Petrol Kiosk and refueling the vehicle with the ESSO Fuel Card and PIN.

  Our vehicles come with an Esso fuel card that is usually stored in the sun visor above the driver's seat. To use it, you will need to generate a unique PIN using the GetGo app when you arrive at the petrol station.

  The refueling cost will be covered by us and charged to the Esso fuel card. On top of that, we'll reward you with a promo code you may use for your next booking.

  
  

  Your refuel promo code will be added to your promo code wallet automatically within 3 business days.

  Do note that there will be a penalty for refueling the wrong fuel type for the vehicle.

• What if the car has less than ¼ fuel at the start of the trip?

  If the car has less than a ¼ tank of fuel left, we recommend heading to an Esso petrol station and using the Esso fuel card placed in every car to refuel. Plus, if you refuel from less than ¼ tank to a full tank using the Esso fuel card, you'll receive a $6 promo code.

  If there isn't an Esso station near you, you may still head out to any other petrol stations. You're required to pay upfront, but we'll reimburse you once you submit the reimbursement form.

• How do I unlock the car?

  To unlock your car, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Bookings
  2. Tap on your current booking
  3. Tap once on Connect to car (it might take a while to establish a connection)
  4. Tap Unlock

  Now you're all good to GetGo! 🚙

  

  If you are facing difficulty, follow the basic troubleshooting steps listed below.

  1. Kill the app
  2. Turn on and off Bluetooth.
  3. Relaunch the app
