How do I start and drive the Hyundai Elantra?
- Depress the brake pedal fully (do NOT release).
- Press the START button, as shown in the picture below.
- The dashboard will illuminate once it is fully started.
- Shift your gear to D (Drive).
- Release the hand brake and gently release the brake pedal — and off you go!
