There are 3 icons for you to toggle between to change the gears, as shown in the picture below.
R - Reverse
D - Drive
N - Neutral
To release the parking brake, step on the brake pedal, then turn the knob to D (Drive). To engage the parking brake, turn the knob to N (Neutral).
