How do I release and engage the parking brake of the Ssangyong Stavic?

1. To release the parking brake, locate and pull on the lever to the bottom left of the steering wheel as shown in the image below.
   
2. To engage the parking brake, locate and step on the small lever beside the brake pedal as shown in the image below.
   

Remember to engage the parking brake by stepping down on it when you park your car.
