Where is the parking brake on the Mazda CX-5?

The Mazda CX-5 has an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB). It is located beside the gear shift knob, as shown in the picture below.

To release the parking brake, follow these steps: 

1. Push the button down.
2. Set the gear to D (Drive).

To engage the parking brake, follow these steps: 

1. Set the gear to P (Park).
2. Pull the button up.
