How do I turn on/off the wipers in the Nissan X-TRAIL?

The wiper lever can be found on the left side of the steering wheel.

To turn on the wipers:

1. Slow wiper intervals: Push the lever up once 
2. Fast wiper intervals: Push the lever up twice 
3. Very fast wiper intervals: Push the lever up thrice 

To turn off the wipers: 

Push the lever down to its original position

To activate the rear window wiper, push the lever down once. To turn it off, push it back up.

To use the water jet on the windscreen, pull the lever towards you.
