How do I change gears on the Volkswagen ID.4?
- Locate the gear lever on the right side of the steering wheel as shown in the image below.
- To drive off, press the brake pedal firmly and do not release it. Then, turn the lever upwards to D (Drive).
- To reverse, press the brake pedal firmly and do not release it. At the same time, turn the lever to R (Reverse).
- To park, press the brake pedal firmly and do not release it. At the same time, press the button on the right side of the lever to P (Park).
