If you hold a long-term pass — like a Student Pass (STP), Employment Pass (EP), or Long-term Visit Pass (LTVP) — you’ll need to convert your foreign driving licence to a Singapore driving licence if you plan to drive after staying in Singapore for 12 months.
For Work Permit (WP) or S-Pass holders, the rules are more stringent — you can drive with a foreign licence for only six months. After which, conversion is required.
