Please note that all GetGo vehicles are progressively being equipped with the new On-Board Unit (OBU) as part of the ERP 2.0 system rollout. However, during this transition period, some vehicles may still be fitted with the older In-Vehicle Unit (IU).
For vehicles with the new OBU system:
- The touchscreen display is located in front of the driver.
- The processing unit (IU) is located near the front passenger footwell.
- The OBU and touchscreen will automatically power on and off when the vehicle is turned on or off.
How to check your card balance: Refer to the top-left corner of the touchscreen display to check your card balance.
Where to insert your CEPAS card: Please insert your CEPAS card into the processing unit near the front passenger footwell.
For vehicles with the old IU:
- The IU unit is located on the dashboard.
- Insert your CashCard directly into the card reader slot on the IU.
How to insert your CashCard and check your balance:
Important points:
- The new OBU system only supports CEPAS cards (e.g., NETS Flashpay or NETS/EZ-Link Motoring cards).
- Your CEPAS card must have a sufficient amount. If there’s an insufficient amount in your card, the touchscreen display will emit a beeping sound.
- SimplyGo EZ-link cards and regular CashCards are incompatible and not supported by the new OBU system.
