Booking charges for driving to Malaysia are different from the usual GetGo bookings in Singapore.
Time charge
Drive to Malaysia (DTM) bookings will have a 30% surcharge on the time charge capped based on your vehicle category and travel day.

This means that any time charge discounts will apply to the combined amount of the base time charge and surcharge.
Mileage charge
No mileage charge but you’ll have to pay for your own fuel in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Cars must enter Malaysia with at least three-quarter tank full according to Malaysia laws.
- You must return the car with at least half a tank of fuel — you’ll be asked to take a picture of your dashboard as proof when you end your booking.
Cancellation charge
If a cancellation fee applies, it is calculated based on the total time charge plus surcharges for your booking.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
CDW rates will be doubled for DTM bookings, while the excess remains unchanged. This means the Standard CDW increases to 10% of the total booking charge, and the Enhanced CDW increases to 20% of the total booking charge. The price of the CDW you’ve opted in for will be calculated on top of the time charge and surcharge.
