Yes, you can drive a GetGo vehicle out of Singapore if you book an eligible Drive to Malaysia (DTM) GetGo vehicle. Not all GetGo vehicles are eligible for DTM bookings. Hence, make sure that you opt-in for the DTM feature when making your booking.
Do note that driving into Malaysia using GetGo vehicles that are not eligible for DTM is a breach of GetGo's Terms & Conditions and will automatically disqualify you from being covered by insurance.
You will be charged an additional $1,000 on top of your booking fees for driving a GetGo vehicle that is not eligible for DTM across the border. Another $1,000 will be further charged if we need to repossess the vehicle from outside of Singapore. Administrative and loss-of-use charges may also apply.
All costs and claims from accidents that occur while driving a GetGo vehicle not eligible for DTM outside of Singapore will be fully charged to the driver.
