First, stay calm — we’re here to help. Here’s what to do:
- Call GetGo immediately via our accident hotline at +65 6564 3846 and follow the instructions given.
- Do not admit fault at the scene under any circumstances.
- Exchange details such as full name, NRIC/passport number, driving license, contact number, and vehicle plate with all parties involved.
- Document everything by taking pictures of all vehicles involved and any damages at the scene to preserve evidence.
- Call 112 (Malaysian emergency services) if anyone is injured.
- File a police report at the nearest Balai Polis Trafik within 24 hours. Do note that your police report must be filed in the state where the accident occurred. Reports filed in a different state will not be accepted.
- File another police report at a Singapore police station when you return back to Singapore.
