If you have a confirmed Drive to Malaysia booking with GetGo, you’ll have to cover your own refuelling costs in both Singapore and Malaysia during your booking.
When refueling, use RON95 or higher in Singapore and RON97 or higher in Malaysia — mandated by Malaysian law for Singapore vehicles.
As part of the law enforced by Singapore Customs, do ensure that your fuel tank is at least three-quarters full before entering Malaysia. Once you have completed your trip and returned the vehicle to the dedicated home lot in Singapore, you will also need to ensure that the tank is at least half full.
You’ll be prompted in the app to take a picture of your dashboard when you start and end your booking. This is to ensure that fuel levels are accounted for.
If your fuel level is less than half at the end of your booking, you’ll be charged $35 per quarter tank of shortage.
