Loss of use refers to a vehicle's downtime for repairs following an accident. You may incur charges for this if the damaged vehicle is unavailable for bookings.
While insurance excess is linked to the direct costs of repairing or replacing the insured item, expenses like booking car fees or alternative transportation costs, known as loss of use expenses, are not covered by insurance excess.
- Insurance excess: It does not cover the loss of use; its purpose is to address any claims for all damages and costs incurred or to be incurred as a result of the accident.
- Loss of use: Please note that charges associated with the loss of use are described as the downtime of our vehicle.
You may find more information in our Terms and conditions under Clause 4.6.
