Loss of use is a vehicle’s downtime for repairs after an accident. You may be charged for it if the damaged vehicle is unavailable for bookings.
While insurance excess is related to the direct costs of repairing or replacing the insured item, loss of use expenses, such as booking car fees or alternative transportation costs, are not covered by insurance excess.
