It is mandatory to report any accident to our appointed Accident Reporting Centre, with the support of our Team, regardless of the accident's severity. Failure to report an accident may lead to receiving a non-reporting notice from our insurer or the Traffic Police for hit-and-run incidents.
Furthermore, if you neglect to report an accident and a third party involved in the accident submits their report, you will lose all insurance coverage. This means you will be responsible for covering the full cost of the accident and any related expenses, including legal claims by the third party.
After an accident, our Support Team will do the following:
- Reach out to you through your registered email address and/or mobile number.
- Guide you through your accident report.
- For hit-and-run incidents, our Support Team will guide you through a mandatory Traffic Police report.
- We will temporarily suspend your GetGo account.
Please bear in mind that our insurer will evaluate the accident's liability, and any applicable charges will be based on our Insurance Excess.
For more information, you may refer to our Terms and conditions under Clause 4.4c, 4.4g, 4.4h, 4.5 and Schedule 2.
