Investigation and assessment:
- Conducted by the insurer's in-house claims officer or an independent loss adjuster appointed by the insurer.
- This involves checking coverage, meeting with the insured, inspecting the property involved (GetGo vehicle and other third-party properties involved), determining the cause of loss, and assessing the claim value, liability, and recovery possibilities.
Involvement of medical practitioners:
- If a Body Injury claim is involved, our insurer will reach out to relevant medical practitioners to verify the authenticity of claimed injuries or medical conditions.
